HOW IT ALL STARTED!

I was looking for ways to help creative folks kick start their sewing project and focus on improving their sewing skill without worrying on the technical know-how of drafting a sewing pattern that fit and in proper silhouette. As a Fashion instructor who have trained students on sewing & pattern education in different schools in the state; I've watched so many people struggle with this technical aspect of fashion and how it has really slow down their project time & sewing skill.

So this was what prompted me to set up this blog with a solution to provide sewing education to guide you in improving your sewing skill and giving you a flexible sewing pattern which you can use as a tool or as a finished product in making stylish apparel for your wardrobe collection which you can be proud of.   

By the way, I'm Damilola Mercy Adefenwa. Welcome to DMA Sewing Pattern and Craft. I have passion for helping creative folks to achieve their Sewing project and Fashion goals in the aspect of setting up an In-house production team for their business.

The sewing pattern I made is easy to use and understand plus it's very flexible  in accommodating your own creative adaptation or  fashion add-up. It is also free of jargon bustling instruction of most conventional sewing pattern. No matter which sewing skill-level you are either a beginner/Intermediate/Advanced you will find an interesting sewing pattern you will work with here.

I've written sewing and pattern cutting guide with step-by-step illustration/video according to each skilled-level to further assist you with your sewing project.

There will also be educating tips for fashion entrepreneurs on how to set-up an in-house production team  with the right resources for their fashion business.
