  This easy to sew classic fish-tail(a.k.a mermaid) Panel dress sewing pattern is perfect for a confident DIY beginner and Intermediate dressmaker. It is a classic dress style for West Africa evening dress popularly known as "Aso-Ebi"(Uniform garment). It is a floor length, lined dress which has a fitted classic princess dart bustier and can be padded(interlined) with soft/hard(light/medium weight) fusible interface. It has two styles variation (Style A- with double layer peplum & Style-B with a puff  short sleeve), back Zipper, fitted short sleeve and Six(6) pieces panel skirt. 


       This is a classic dress that never goes out of fashion and having the sewing pattern at home for your dressmaking project is a life-time benefit plus it is very flexible to accommodate more styling with embellishment if you want. This style is suitable for Ankara & Adire(an Africa print cotton fabric),voile lace, mesh/net lace, organza lace, French tulle lace, satin and Velvet.
